Home Sweet Home!

Last Friday, I was blessed by some great friends who gave me a ride home. I had a great time with them, and it was so lovely to go home. I'd only been away for a week, but my mother and sister and I stayed up until almost 2:00 in the morning talking. I loved it! 

Discoveries

I'm going to be honest with y'all (see, I'm already southern ;)) : I have a ton of reading to do. After classes yesterday, I looked at all of my syllabi and felt overwhelmed. So I complained to my sister and whined to my mother, and then I decided to get to it. I grabbed a couple of books and trekked across campus to the library.

Beginnings

I thought that I was being brave when I joined seven other teens this summer and flew to Kenya. And maybe I was. Well-meaning family and friends worried over my safety, and I was just like, "God's still in control, and He wants me on this trip, so I'm going."
