Home Sweet Home!

Last Friday, I was blessed by some great friends who gave me a ride home. I had a great time with them, and it was so lovely to go home. I'd only been away for a week, but my mother and sister and I stayed up until almost 2:00 in the morning talking. I loved it!

Not only did I get to spend two days with my family, but I also got to go to my church and see my best friend. It was such a wonderful weekend.

My college has classes on Labor Day, so my family brought me back to school after church. We went to Starbucks and Panda Express on the way back (okay, so Panda wasn't necessarily on the way for us, but we made it work).

I made my family come up to see my room. And then I walked them down to the vehicle. And then I hugged them goodbye for the second time in the past 12 days. Not going to lie, it wasn't a whole lot easier this time around. I like my school. I like my friends. My roommate and I are getting along great. But they're just not my family, y'know?

I know that God wants me here, and so here I am. I have complete confidence that He is with me and will give me strength. In my times of weakness, His power and love will shine through.

"But He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.'" ~2 Corinthians 12:9a (NIV)
