The Countdown has Begun

Only two weeks until finals week. TWO WEEKS. I have so much to do. So much studying to begin. So many words to type. So much coffee and chocolate to consume,

I've only had one of these before (you can reread how I felt only a couple of days before the big week here). It was a very busy, stressful time. One of my fondest memories involve falling asleep on my biology notes in the middle of the day. I'm sure that the end of this semester will bring about just as many pleasant events.

It seems like everyone keeps talking about how quickly this semester has flown by. "Can you believe we're almost sophomores? How are we this old? How have we already been in college a whole year?" And while I agree that this semester has passed much more quickly than last semester did, I can totally believe that we're almost sophomores. Surely I'm not the only one who remembers everything that we have done to earn our spots as sophomores.

What I can't believe is how I've only known some of these people for such a short time. Surely we've been friends much longer than that.

I currently have my anatomy and physiology notes open on my desk. I was studying, but decided to take a break before my world lit class to type out a blog post. A kind of a brain break. After class, I may treat myself to a visit to the coffee shop. That way, I'll be able to study a lot tonight.

(And no, this studying isn't for m finals, although I feel like I should start that studying too, just to get ahead of my schedule. I still have a test between now and my comprehensive A&P final.)

On the bright side, I discovered one of my favorite movie soundtracks on Spotify, and that helps lessen the stress while studying. I've also kinda sorta taken up running again, so there's some endorphins there.  I accidentally finished the book I'm reading for my world lit class a week early, which means that I have a little extra time this next week to devote to other things. These are all good things.
